In an effort to be as eco-conscious as I can, I try to make use of every part of each suit jacket I upcycle. The big pieces go to the bags, the medium pieces to the laptop cozies, the cuffs to the iPod cozies but what do I do with the scraps? I figured making Patchwork cushions made alot of sense. It helps use up the jacket remnants and added a touch of rustic whimsy to a chair, bed or sofa.
Made from several recycled suit-jackets. All are one-of-a-kind and have individual character, whether they be vintage buttons, pockets, sleeve cuffs or bits of other fabric patchworked in to highlight the wools, tweeds or silk of the jacket remnant.
The Small Cushion measures 12" x 18".
